HSBC agrees to transfer retail banking operations in Indonesia to OCBC Indonesia
HSBC has entered into a binding agreement to transfer its retail banking and wealth management operations in Indonesia to PT Bank OCBC NISP Indonesia (‘OCBC Indonesia’). Our Corporate and Institutional Banking business is unaffected by the decision. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed in the first half of 2027.
