Overview

e-Wallet essentially is a wallet to store money and accessed to pay for goods and services.

  • Choose Pay & Transfer menu.
  • Select Pay & Transfer.

  • Select account to be source of fund.

  • Choose "Add a new payee" to register new e-Wallet number.

  • Select "e-Wallet".

  • Choose e-Wallet destination from available list.

  • Insert e-Wallet number and continue the step.

  • Insert top up amount and nickname/notes (optional), then continue.

  • Review transaction information. When it is correct, click "Confirm"

  • The app will show top up confirmation which has been successfully made.

Top Up e-Wallet menu gives you quick and easy access to make Top Up transactions to popular e-Wallet providers. This menu is available in HSBC Mobile Banking.

Currently you can top up OVO, GoPay, LinkAja, ShopeePay, and Dana accounts through HSBC Mobile Banking.

The Top Up e-Wallet limit are combined with Online Realtime Transfer and ATM interbank transfers up to maximum IDR 50 mio daily. Please note, that each e-Wallet provider has their own policies regarding maximum balance. Make sure the Top Up amount is within the max limit of the destination e-Wallet account.

  • Bank do not charge bank administration fee on for e-Wallet top up transactions. Some providers may charge admin fee based on the provider regulation.
  • For HSBC Premier customers enjoy free unlimited bank administration fee for top up e-Wallet and free of bank administration fee up to 30x/month for Advance customers (combined with Online Realtime Transfer). Advance customers will be charged with IDR 7,500 for subsequent transactions once the 30x limit has been reached.
  • For HSBC Retail Business Banking customers, enjoy free bank administration fee up to 30x/month for Top Up e-Wallet (combined with Online Realtime Transfers). You will be charged with IDR 7,500 for the subsequent transactions once the 30x limit has been reached.
