We refer to Bank Indonesia Regulation No.13/20/PBI/2011 on Export Proceeds and Foreign Debt Withdrawal ( Penerimaan Devisa Hasil Ekspor dan Penarikan Devisa Utang Luar Negeri) and Bank Indonesia Regulation No. 13/21/PBI/2011 on Monitoring of Bank Activity in Foreign Exchange Flow (Pemantauan Kegiatan Lalu Lintas Devisa Bank) each letter dated 30 September 2011. Under the said regulations, you require to report all details export transaction (Rincian Transaksi Ekspor) to Bank Indonesia through the Bank where the funds being credited, in addition to existing reporting requirement on all movement of foreign currency transfer with amount exceeding USD10,000 or equivalent.

To ensure our customer’s  compliance with these regulations, starting 2 January 2012, we will proactively send you a Customer Declaration form for every incoming fund to your foreign currency account with amount exceeding USD10,000 (or equivalent). The Customer Declaration form will serve both the requirement to report transaction related to Export Proceeds and Foreign Exchange Flow (if applicable). We would like to seek your cooperation to complete the Customer Declaration form and returning it to us within the timeline stated in the Declaration Form.

As a recipient of this email, you are a registered user (e-mail) in our system and will expect to receive the Customer Declaration form from HSBC from time to time for the above reporting purpose.
